Where is the best place to post jobs for interns interested in startups, besides college boards?
-
I know I can go to each college an post a job, but I want to target students or grads that are specifically interested in working with a startups with aspiration of being a part something from ground up. Also like the idea of hitting this target audience all at once or twice. I know y-combinator would be an obvious place but I know a lot of post get missed there if does not get bumped up. What are other choices.

Answer:
If you are looking for startup friendly people in the Washington, DC area then post them to http://www.socialmatchbox.com. The list has a great collection of people who visit it from local schools and the local community.

One of my favorites is http://ventureloop.com - the site is dedicated to people who want jobs/internships specifically in startups. Competition in it can be rough though (and inconveniently skewed towards certain areas). You'll notice that FB and Twitter post on there. Second you have http://urbaninterns.com - this isn't targeted towards startups but the demographic is very progressive. You'll notice a lot of upstarts listed on here as well as a lot of the functionality you would see out of a web 2.0 group. Alot of really cool internships get posted here thus you'll see much more dynamic interns Lastly I'd echo what Gershon said. Craigslist really can get you some great intern prospects. Granted because its craigslist you will always get an influx of poor applicants; be smart when you post and put some actual thought into the posting. You will get some great applicants after you sift through the piles of template emails. Tip: Don't give up after the first posting. Also the time you post can be make or break. These are by no means exhaustive. You can always try http://Fastweb.com (ugh) and even MonsterTrak. If you really have the budget by some banner ads on some popular adspace.

A great place to post flyers for a job would be on an outdoor bulletin board. You can find them all around campus. If not, suggest one by visiting http://www.outdoormessagecenter.com/.
