Answer:
The Meta Keywords tag has absolutely no bearing on how your site ranks. You would be better served by: Optimizing your title tags creating unique content people are interested in ensuring that content is crawlable and readable by search engines accumulating backlinks from relevant, trustworthy sites.

Agreed with Mr. Shafer on the usage of the Meta Keyword tag and that you should focus on your Title, content, etc. If what you're referring to is the constant re-optimization of content and reevaluating your keyword focus and keyword list, then yes it should be done regularly. You should always create a Master Keyword List and constantly be looking at your target list of keywords, terms and phrases that you include. You should use your competitors' sites to find new terms that they're using that may be relevant to your industry and you can check the news and other sources to do the same. One great tool is the Google Contextual Targeting Tool which shows you terms that Google finds relevant to the searched term. Here's an article on mining the CTT for keywords: . Here's Google's breakdown of the CTT: http://www.google.com/ads/innovations/ctt.html Make sure that you focus the level of generality/specificity to each page of your site. Look at each as a level that ranges from general (Your homepage) to specific (your deepest pages). Your homepage shouldn't be specifically targeting narrow terms and your deep pages shouldn't be optimized for general keywords. Also make sure that you have enough content to support your target terms and make sure it's unique. Take the time to build your list, create quality content focused on the new term(s), use stems, synonyms, related terms, etc to support it; fit it logically into the hierarchy/architecture of your website and link to it from relevant pages on your site and others. I believe that Baidu is the world's only major search engine which still considers any meta tags in its rankings. (Yandex might, but I'm much less familiar with them.) With Google, they don't matter at all for ranking. If Google is your most important search engine target, then it's best to optimize them for what the user likes best instead of for the robots. If Baidu is more important, then yes, do what you can to get your keywords in to the title and meta tags - but still in a user-friendly way so that Google doesn't flag your site for spam.

Suggest you don't submit your website to search engine,se will index our page naturally. We couldn't updae our fresh website frequently,we need to insure our keywords before se index. Unless we are authoritative.

As stated above, the meta keyword tag does not impact search engine rankings. I would advise against wasting time with this tag. However, still do your keyword research and target these keywords in other ways. Not by submitting your website to search engines (waste of time, just as with the keyword tag), but by developing (or getting a professional to do this for you) a well rounded white-hat SEO strategy to target your selected terms.
