What do pediatric neurologists do?

What could be the reasons for me having low intensity twitching for several years in my eyes, fingers, nose and sometimes lips? I have been going to many types of doctors: GPs, neurologists, dermatologists, but I haven't been able to find answers.

  • My repeated twitching has led me to compulsively read about it on the Internet and now I feel I may be hypochondriac! I have been suggested Parkisons, MS, what not! I am otherwise a healthy, perfect weight, height Indian guy in my 30s having these twitches going on for over 10 years. Now I suspect they might be increasing.

  • Answer:

I would put commonest possibility as 1. Anxiety & 2. Vit B12 deficiency. Do you consume egg/ meats & milk & milk products?

It may be Tourette's Syndrome, if it is a compulsion arising from within. I am not certain I am understanding your symptoms. If it is not a compulsion, then a neurologist is your best bet.
