Which ad agency currently has the AT&T account?

I want to join an ad agency as a copywriter but I don't have any related working experience. Should I start as an account executive or should I focus on writing a great resume?

    You should make a portfolio with "fake ads". Most agencies don't care about past working experience for people who are just starting their creative career. They want to see how creative you are. Making a portfolio with your copy will show all your creative potential and judgment faculty. (both important skills to a copywriter) I imagine that 10 ads would suffice. Choose companies that you like and try to work with different industries. It would be better to have a good art direction but it is not 100% necessary. Some copywrite

Yeah honestly everyone starting out doesn't have work - as suggested do some practice work, or pro bono work, build your book and submit that.  Also have a hunt around for internships to help get in the industry & build your networks - even if it's part time every little bit helps.
