Now im using stardevelops live messenger, -Pros- its inline (not in new window), have windows, android and iphone client. You can buy and setup in yor server. Best thing is they are not trying to rob you every month. -Cons- Dont have msn, gtalk client support, Remove copyright line price is high.

A thing that always gets under my skin is the new window or pop out window, I always seem to lose them or forget about them.http://www.heybubble.com makes it so the chat window is on the bottom right corner, and will follow you from page to page so there is no lost chat, if you go to another page.
