How was your experience of working for some NGO in Mumbai?

    It was great! Though I worked as an intern for a relatively short period, it was still a new experience for me and I loved it. I worked in the Marketing department on the Mumbai Marathon project at CRY (Child Rights and You). I had never worked in marketing previously and my work was to approach the CSR heads of large companies and convince them to run for our NGO in the marathon. I was expected to make up to 25 calls a day and it wasnt very nice. The people I talked to were snobbish most of the time but some were very nice too :) I appreciated them taking some time off their schedules to talk to an 18 year old intern from an NGO. Nevertheless, it was a great learning experience!
