What is Bollywood?

What wrong messages does Bollywood convey to society/youth/everyone? What are some examples of Bollywood projecting the wrong message?

  • There are a lot of movies that teach good lessons and try to give a realistic message to society to bring a change. Like 3 Idiots, Swades, Bhag Milkha Bhag etc etc. And I am not talking about these movies. Major part of Bollywood's work conveys wrong messages/lessons in many ways.

    Objectifies Women Example: Seriously, what were they thinking. Misleads youngsters about love. For instance, 'love happens at first sight', 'stalking a girl proves how much you love her.', etc. One Example: I call it a 'blue' film

BOLLYWOOD only focuses on the ways to extract money. Most part of bollywood doesn't give a f*** to something called art. They doesn't want to entertain people. The just want money. The best examples for what I said are the recent Dhoom 3, Krrish 3 etc. Ain't this true??

Sexism. Many Bollywood songs are sexist, even movies themselves, for a concrete example Forcing her to be with him just because he "can" he's a guy. This is pretty much encouraging specially young males to do so. Maybe we don't pay attention to that when watching these type of entertaining films, but yeah, automatically we learn to do the same. It's sad!
