How do I win a Halloween Costume contest remotely?

  • Need help coming up with a badass Halloween costume with some interesting constraints. Ok, so I know it's early to start talking Halloween costumes, but I have a dilemma. I am the two year reigning halloween costume champion at work, I need to go for the three-peat this year! However, there is a little snag in my plan to reign supreme: I'm going to be out of the country!!! I need a costume that can involve me being remote, but I would like to have an 'on-site' portion of the costume. I'm pretty tech savvy (as in, I could write an app to help with the costume), and I work at a tech company, so assume we have devices and monitors/tvs to work with. I can have coworkers who will be in the local office that can help me out, or even be "part" of my costume. My initial thoughts included something with an array of phones or tablets or somehow projecting my image into a crystal ball or something like that, but I would love to hear any and all ideas.

(Edit add) If you want to do it on a lower budget, some Roombas are reprogramable, work something out so you can control a Roomba remotely, and rig up a tablet with Skype on some sort of a stand attached to the Roomba.
