what encryption is used?

Help me remember which client-side encryption software I used...

  • I have a bunch of files in a cloud account that I have, at some point, encrypted before uploading them, but now I can't remember what I used to encrypt them. However the file (re-)naming system looks like other people might recognise what software I used... The folder that's in the cloud storage is called MyVault.hvault, and the folder and file names themselves are scrambled but not obviously encrypted. See this screen shot to see what I mean: http://imgur.com/zO5rcs6 So the three bottom-level subfolder names should be www.m3l.io, ID and (ironically) Recovery. The files themselves are renamed in similar ways, and they're encrypted too. This looks to me very much like I encrypted the files on my machine, and then uploaded the whole folder (called MyVault.hvault) to the cloud drive. Anyone recognise what software would have done that for me? It would have been on a Mac.

  • Answer:

My Googlefu says... "Hider2" which is a Mac thing, but I don't use a Mac, so I leave the rest to you.
