Why does Yahoo! Answers get worse with every update?

  • As hard as it is to believe, I am a *Level 7* participant on Yahoo! Answers with 97% best answer, my account having been a member for 8 years. I have a male Yahoo! Avatar, which can no longer be changed in any way, since Yahoo! discontinued the avatar site as well as their Pulse profile. Anyway, so what I'd like to know is, why does Yahoo! Answers get worse with every change they make to the site? I would like to ask this question on there, but since my *Level 7* account is now priceless, with the voting system having been done away with (that's how I got the vast majority of my 125,197 points in 2007-2012), I cannot afford the risk of yet another violation! Does anyone on here have experience with Yahoo! Answers? If so, do you remember how much better it seemed in the old days of 2006, 2007, etc.? I created my original account exactly 9 years ago as of yesterday, but because I got suspended (along with a slew of other Yahoo! Avatar people I'd made), its pop-up no longer shows me to be a *Level 5* user like it did for many years. (It says "Sorry, something went wrong!" in red.) So am I the only one who thinks Yahoo! Answers just gets worse with every upgrade?
