How to become a sport engineer?

  • Hi, I'm going to be a junior in high school this year. I really like to play any sport and wanted to be a soccer player. But it wasn't that easy, and I turned my eyes to a job that relates to a soccer or any sport. So I decided to be a sport engineer, but it's not easy to figure out how to become a sport engineer So, my questions are, 1. I don't actually know what the sport engineering is, 2. What major is required to be the sport engineer 3. What colleges or universities are offering majors that relate to sport engineer. I would appreciate your answers. Thank you.

    I have multiple degrees in Engineering and in the US at least I have never heard of a Sport Engineer. There are careers in Engineering that might include designing sports facilities and equipment. There are careers in Medicine that lead to involvement in sports training and medical and surgical treatment.

I read the answers and that sounds like a really specific field. Have you thought about sports management which is a business program? You would be learning skills that could also be applied in entertainment management and other areas. Just a thought...
