Why do my eyes change from green to blue to grey almost daily?

Why do my deep green eyes often randomly change back and forth to an ocean blue color?

• This happens randomly and I have been unable to pinpoint what is causing. I.E. Clothing, light, etc. I am a lighting designer, so I have often pay attention to lighting. And it doesn't seem to be consistent with the change. I've had it happen inside my home with just a lamp on, as well as outside in the sun. Dark clothes, light clothes, none of it matters. Some people swear they are blue, others say green. They always look green to me except at a distance, at which they look deep blue.

  Mine change from green to a yellowish color & at least for me it seems to be connected to my moods. When I'm in a generally good mood, having fun, etc, my eyes are green but as my mood changes to sad or mad they tend to go more yellow. But maybe an Optometrist or Opthamologist could better answer that.
