How can i watch television on my new psp?

How may I read more books and watch less television?

  • I go to school at Portland Community College in Portland, Oregon, USA and am there for about three to four hours on the weekdays and I volunteer at Cedar Mill Community Library also in Portland, Oregon, USA on the weekends for about two hours each day. I enjoy reading novels and some non-fiction books and I enjoy seeing that kids at Cedar Mill Community Library are reading either picture books or chapter books; however, when I am at home, one of the first things I do every time I get home is turn on the television. Reading at home is something I do not enjoy doing because of the temptation of the television. I do not want to take television out of my life completely, I just want to watch less of my television by either restricting how much television I watch and/or when I allow myself to watch television. How can do this successful in my life?

  • Answer:

Decide on two TV shows that you don't want to miss. Record them. When you come home, make tea or food and sit down with your book. At a certain time, watch your shows. Then you can have both. You just need to develop a new way of managing time.

Don't plop down in front of the TV and browse to see what's on. You'll find yourself wasting time watching stuff you weren't really that interested in in the first place. If you don't know what's on you won't feel like you're missing anything. If you have DVR or another device to record shows, pick a few shows that you like to watch and set them up to autorecord. That way you're pre-selecting the amount of viewing material you watch. When you sit down to watch TV go to your list of recorded shows. Once you've watched all the new stuff on your list it's time to shut the TV off and go read a book.
