What are some good college websites?

What are some good websites for college students to write blogs/journal entries?

  • When I go away for college,I'm thinking of starting a journal/blog in which I write entries for my family to read. the closest colleges around here that offer 4 year degrees in the major I want are either on the other side of the state or in another state altogether. so there's going to be little opportunity for me to visit them and talking on the phone isn't something I do. I don't wanna write blogs about "how to do this". something like some medical school diaries you'll find online. just entries you can type and post and people who know your username can find. anyone know any websites like that I can check out? seems appropriate for me to do this. thanks.

    blogger.com - not completely sure if you can make it private but I got friends who use that.
