When is the best time to transplant Spanish Oak Trees in Southwest Alabama

My grandparents have built a new house and they have NO trees in there yard and they are outside all the time and we have 2 GIANT Spanish oaks and one of them has saplings around them and we were gonna send some to them. What I need to know is when is the best time to transplant Spanish Oak trees NOT SPANISH MOSS
