Example of Renewable raw materials?

Is roomba (iRobot company) following the fair trade agreement with its materials? (for an example and not a real one slavery for the metals)

• its for an assignment about fair trade, but i cant seem to avoid the positive things about it and its website isnt exactly helpful. can someone help me find but if there is any illegal activity involved for getting the materials for the roomba

  In general companies do not tend to publish to the public where they source all of the materials to make a product. They may have multiple sources for critical items and those might come from different locations in the world in order to avoid shortages or to get best prices at any point in time. Where the components come from can be and often is considered proprietary to the company and not for public dissemination. What you may be able to find is where the item is assembled based on the label affixed to the Roomba. I worked for a major Fortune 500 company and I assure that the information that you are seeking is not normally shared unless a company wants to brag about something. In my opinion as an Engineer, I doubt that you will find any metals, contained in the Roomba, that are obtained using slavery
