How can I fix my amp?

How can I fix the connection between my radio, amp, and subs?

  • so I got two 10" subs installed into my truck with a 444watt amp. I disconnected the wires from the back of my radio to fully get my radio into my dash but when I plugged it all back in all my settings on my radio came back and completely reset my bass to treble ratio how can I fix this

  • Answer:

You should have a fuse. Usually on the firewall. You might not be getting connection due to a blown fuse. Listening to music with the key on engine off causes stress on the battery and stress on the fuse. If it's a fuse it's easy only a dollar fuse and it will be back to normal.

Car radios do not have an internal battery, so when you disconnect the power harness, none of the settings or presets are saved.
