Do medical assistants use math if so when?

If I study all the symbols for math and algebra and see how they work with equations, can I use this method to understand any math equation?

  • Im thinking If I learn all the symbols in all types of math and see how they work, ill be able to understand any math equations by just looking at them witout having to actually study math. Is this possible?

  • Answer:

No. You can study all the letters of the alphabet and still not know how to write :-) Learning the syntax and terminology of a scientific field is a requisite requirement but is not sufficient for mastery of it.

you would be better off learning things like what is a product or a sum and what are the parts of addition, subtraction multiplication and division and why and how you get the answer so that when you move something on one side of the equation you will know what you have to do.

Actually what I do to study for math exams is I just go through examples from class work and look at the problems step by step to make sure I know how to do them and I actually practice them and match my answer up with the right answer to make sure I know how to do it. It works for me:) It's possible
