Am i allergy to seafood?

  • so i work as a seafood clerk and i've been there for 3 weeks and every time i handle something i feel a stinging sensation on my hands and it really hurts my fingers hurt when i move them and my finger tips i can't barely feel them all i see is dead skin peeling off so what should i do if it sounds like im allergy to seafood i really wanna work there but, i think i might be allergy.

    do they not provide you with disposable gloves? They should, in most places it is a health code rule for people handling food to wear them at all times when touching the food. :/ if they don;t just go buy a box and wear them, you can get them pretty cheap..

Maybe you are allergic to the type of gloves that are provided to you.

Take a couple of gloves home and wear them for a few hours and see if you have the same reaction. if it's not the gloves, then yes you are allergic to seafood and you should not continue working there unless a dr. says it is OK
