How long should one wait before calling a place they applied at, to check on their resume?

yes I would wait maybe 2 to 3 days and call, going in and introducing yourself to the manager is also a good idea :) good luck

You could have asked someone working at that job how they liked it and slip in words by asking how long before they called after application if you decided to get a job there? Also never wait for one job, more the better then waiting.g for one be aide they might hire someone else.
