How do I make my college application to University of Illinois stand out?

I am a junior and I'm doing pretty well in all my classes, but didn't do extremely well my fresh and soph year. My cumulative GPA so far is about a 3.7. I really want to get in to UOI, but I don't know how to make my self stand out. I'm in Key Club and Spanish Club, but I'm not too involved in either. I've volunteered at the library and a few other institutions before and I might get a job. I know 3 languages and a few others conversationally. I'm not sure exactly what I want to major in.

Frankly I think going to College would be a mistake without some idea of what degree you might pursue and how a degree might be used in a career.
