Do people normally get moles removed?

Should I get this mole removed?

  • I have a mole that is less than 3 mm in diameter and about 2 cm above the left corner of my lip. The other day, someone told me I looked perfect, but then this other girl was like "EXCEPT.." and pointed at my mole. The fact that she had just pointed out one of my biggest insecurities really hurt and somewhat annoyed me. This has always bothered me and I feel like it makes a really difference to my appearance, although people tell me it doesn't. Are moles unattractive and should I get it removed? I don't think it's cancerous or anything.

    I personally think imperfections make people beautiful, and from experience I know that having moles removed leaves pretty bad scars (depending on size, skin color, doctor, etc.), so if it bothers you so much that'd you'd risk scarring your face, I say go ahead and get it removed

Keep it! Some people find moles attractive and you can't live your life pleasing everyone. There's never gonna be a person who everyone loves, so just appreciate what you have! :)

Moles in that location are called beauty spots! She was probably jealous you have one and she doesn't. Just remember, Marilyn Monroe and Cindy Crawford are well known for having them....and so do you!

Let me tell you from personal experience, I had two moles removed from my face. One was on the side of my nose and the larger one was right next to my nose. My self confidence went way up! I was always trying to hide them when speaking to someone. I felt so much better about myself. But I guess it depends on the person. I'm so glad I did it. I have no scars at all.

I know someone who got a mole tattooed above her lip because it is considered attractive. I also know someone else who has a big one on their face. She calls it a beauty mark and doesn't let it hurt her confidence. Be confident in yourself! Keep it
