What can I do with an insurance license?

What if a person was involved in a wreck and didn't have any license or insurance but had a permit ? Can that person still get license ?

  This depends on what state this occurred. Some states, (like mine) have a points advisory board. If you receive a certain number of points within a 36 month period, the points advisory board will suspend your license for a certain period of time. In order to get your license back you would need to pay a restitution fee to the state, and obtain an SR-22, which is expensive. In my state, if you receive 3 points or more within that time frame, you automatically get referred to the points advisory board for review, and they generally suspend your license. In my state, a NO Insurance conviction is 2 points, and an "At Fault Crash", without insurance is 3 points. Since you did not have a license, expect to wait a long time in order to be eligible for one. You should check with your state's administrative licensing commission and inquire about this.
