How to cure a risen bump?

My piercing has a bump on the side of it, How do I cure it?

  • I've had my piercing for a couple of months now & all of a sudden I start felling a bump in my lip where my piercing is there's no skin growing on top of the piercing it looks fine, I just feel a bump not sure it's just swollen but the skin is tough. p.s I had to post the question twice to see if I can get more help.

    it is likely scar tissue that had developed around the piercing as it healed, this is fairly common and there is no "cure" for it outside of plastic surgery to remove the scar tissue, as long as it's not visibly noticeable I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the same thing, I looked it up and what I found out is that it's just a scar. Totally harmless. You probably have the same thing if it gets bigger or for some reason pops talk to a doctor or guardian.

Take the piercing out let it heal and never do that again.
