Things are not as they used to be, i dont understand what is happening.Please help.

  • Hey, i am a 18 year old boy who lives in Norway. Lately things have been though. I dont really understand why or what is happening but things are not ase they used to be. I have no energy. It is so hard waking up every morning to get up and go to school. I always get a little bit late and i get punished. At school i have no motiavation i hate everything that i do at school. It is not fun and it is so hard. I dont understand most of it. After school i just go to bed and sleep for an hour or two and i wake up dissy and disoriantated and with no energy. I used to excerice but now i just cant get my ass up and go to the gym because i have tried but i have never had any results. No motivation. no energy. Scince i dont go to the gym anymore i just sit around on my computer all day. and i dont really have any friends to go to either. Its not like it used to be. It havent been like this. I used to have motivation i used to be good at school i used to have energy i used to have somethign to look forward too. I used to have fun with friends i used to eat healty foods and i used to have a good life. My question is. What is happening?

Yep ... I agree with craigsmom. But only a professional can give you an accurate diagnosis. btw - those Baltic countries have high rates of alcoholism and depression. Likely related. So it's even more important you seek professional counseling to determine why you feel this way.

Have you seen a doctor? Many years ago I began to find I can't exercise despite have been one to exercise for most of my life. I began to think I had turned into a lazy slug. I was actually at the doctor for another issue and thankfully he picked up on something. Turned out I was extremely anemic He put me on prescription iron. It took several weeks to start feel better. Since I've been careful to watch that I get enough iron and am able to exercise (100 plus miles a week on my exercise bike) and take my dog for long walks. Get checked out.

Depression, like everyone else has said, is the most likely cause of this. Of course there are plenty of other possibilities, it seems like this is the case. I recommend you contact your doctor and begin seeing a therapist. They will be able to tell you what's going on.
