Is the GED test difficult?

From experience, how difficult is the GED test to the ACT? From Oklahoma.

  • I was homeschooled and did not recieve a HSD and I need to get my GED. I took the ACT no problem, but I'm nervous about the GED test. Which one is more difficult?

  • Answer:

I'd say GED by far. (I had a friend of mine get a GED about 40 years ago. I took a practice test online just for fun for the GED and didn't miss any questions.)

The GED is a high school equivalency test, and the ACT is a college placement exam. If you have the academic skills of a high school graduate, then they should be about equally easy. If you did well on the ACT you should do fine on the GED. After all it's just high school level material.
