What are some fun crafts to do?

What are some easy & fun crafts for all ages

  • i just got hired as a babysitter for 3 girls. the youngest is 2 and the oldest is 7. i havnt met te other one yet but i will next week (i believe she is 5) i babysit 3 times a week for roughly an hour and a half maybe 2 hours. plus the occasional night their parents want to go out. what are some crafts that would be easy enough for a 2 year old, but "fun" enough that a 7 year old will enjoy.. with LITTLE mess... what are some other things i can do to keep them entertained while im watching them. (i do have experiance babysitting but mostly for my family & close family friends.. all they want to do is watch tv...) the girls are aloud to watch tv but i want them to have fun and get more comfortable having me around. (especially the 2 year old) any ideas will be great! thanks!

  • Answer:

If you want a nature craft, try some nature critters! Give them glue sticks, leaves, and some small sticks they can collect on their own. Add some googley eyes and you'll have a zoo of critters! :) Chalk is also a simple thing- drawing pictures if anything they can think of. If you think the kids an handle it, ask the parents if you can help them make cookies. The two-year-old can be away from the oven and can add ingredients. You and the 7-year-old can mix/mold the cookie dough. Then have them stand way back as you put them in the oven. The kids will love the treat! :) Pinterest also has hundreds of ideas for kids' crafts. Good luck!
