Can you get a chemical burn from a mock orange tree?

What's the best way to burn large pieces of a tree that I have cut

  • i cut them in sections that i can handle fairly easy. they are about 12-14" diameter , so basically i have a whole bunch of large tree slices (pine). I've tried pouring gasoline and charcoal lighter on them. but cant get them to burn. any suggestions?

  • Answer:

They are too wet, you need a good fire underneath to get it hot enough to burn(like a bed of hot coals)...a couple of bags of charcoal might do the trick.

wow don't burn them make clocks with them and sell them or make those things for your table that you put food on and turn the circle so other people can easily get the food...it wouldn't take much and you could earn money

Sell that firewood or have it chipped for bio fuel

Set them aside and let them dry or advertise on Craigslist that you're giving away firewood. Your fire would have to be really hot to burn green wood
