On an iq test I scored 26/40 correct giving me a mental age of 22.78. But how is mental age determined? how did I get a 22.78 from 26/40?
-
I'm 17 years old and got an iq of 134 iq=(mental age/cumulative age)x100. so 134=(22.78/17)x100. I just don't understand how I got a mental age of 22.78 from 26/40. My psychology teacher gave me the test it wasn't a free online test.

Answer:
IQ tests measure your test-taking abilities, not your intelligence
