Should I become an environmental scientist?

  • I'm interested in the environment and think that I want to become and environmental scientist. However I'm not sure. I just want to know what an average day at work is like for environmental scientists to see if that would be something that I am interested in.

You could start working for a company or factory, not exactly a scientist, more like a engineer who is in charge of monitoring the emissions or even noise level of the factory in operation (both inside and out if there are neighbors). They usually work in conjunction with the company Safety engineer which has a lot to do with emissions inside the work plant. They also see that the scrap or waste product is recycled or sold to a recycling plant. All that is in the line of Environmental engineer.
