What do certain dreams mean?

What does it mean when I'm not in any of my dreams?

  • For the past three days I haven't been in my dreams. I've only had dreams of other people.. People that I don't know and am not familiar with. It's very strange because the dreams feel like they're not my dreams. The same dreams will repeat themselves multiple times throughout the night. I never get names of the people in the dreams and it's really strange. I usually am in all of my dreams and am in 3rd person (watching myself in dreams) when I am in my dreams. The last dream that I can recall that I was in (or kind of in) I wasn't really me, I was someone else.. I was seeing through the eyes of the girl that I was and her teeth were all falling out. All of them, all at once.. just fell out. Gone. It was bizarre. Since then, I haven't been in any of my dreams and haven't seen through anyones eyes or seen myself. It's like I don't exist in my dreams and am seeing someone elses. What does this mean? I've tried thinking positive things and of scenarios I would like to dream of but doing so hasn't changed anything.

I've never seen myself. There is the impression of me being there. I don't remember them most of the time and certainly don't worry about them.

Your the viewer, maybe now you can lay back and enjoy them or question them like your doing now. I often think when something is stressful for me at night I get to see all these werid dreams. May of times i've seen myself in them and wake up and then go back into them trying to find out why I could easily return back? Why even worry dreams are meant to be pleasant for some more than for others. I often dreamt of family members that have pasted on and find it satisfying that I had conversations with them.

You know you haven't been I any of my dreams either. And neither of our dreams mean anything really, except that our brains are working a little while we sleep. So stop worrying about these things that don't matter.

It doesnt mean anything, really. My dreams play out like im in a movie and sometimes im even a female (im a guy). It doesnt really mean anything besides that your brain is really active at that moment.

It's only a dream, don't attach too much importance to it.

Nothing. I rarely dream about myself. I think id be more worried if i was always in my own dreams.

auxarcs

Nothing. You're an observer rather than a participant.

Your experiences are typical of a lot of dreamers dream experiences and not weird or uncommon even if they seem like it while you are dreaming them. A note on extreme tooth loss in dreams like you've described - a lot of dream books say that is symbolic for feeling stressed and feeling of of control with your life - feeling helpless. Maybe you need to take more stress breaks and get more organized in your awake life? Anyhow, no worries about your dream!
