Why was my picture/avatar deleted?

My question under the "Questions about Ask.com" category regarding why my question was deleted, has been deleted. Again, why?

  • The screen showing the questions were deleted give me no clue as to why they were deleted. I can't learn from the experience if I don't know why it's happening. Very frustrating.

  • Answer:

    You'll usually get an e-mail as to why they took your question off. Usually! The Mods will only tell you so much also. Best thing to do is to write to Customer Support and ask about your question and get a straight answer as to why it was deleted. I had to do that a couple of times, and at least Eric explained why it was taken off. Only way to really find out as I have been frustrated by deletions also. Good Luck !

I saw your questions. Ask probably thinks it will start a verbal argument on the site,which they hate. But most people can discuss issues here reasonably

I had the same thing happen. I guess they don't allow "Why was I deleted" as a question. You can email them however and ask why you were deleted and you'll probably receive an explanation. I did, anyway. Just click "feedback" on the bottom of the screen and go from there. Good luck.
