How old do you have to be to work in Texas?

In East Texas (or Texas in general), how old to I have to be to work at Home Depot?

Im going to be turning 16 soon, and I want to work at a place that I could find an interest, if not a lot. My ideas are either Ace Hardware or Home Depot. Home Depot sounds more appealing to me and theyre open longer which equals more money. Home Depot is normally 18, but I know some states let you work at 16 and I want to know if Texas is included. If it is, can ya'll please tell me the hours I can? Thanks

East Texas boring as ever. I lived in lufkin for 10 yrs. bored silly moved back home 1300 miles away in 2012. So glad I did. Lol. For the answer. It's u gotta be 18 for Home Depot. Srry.

Home Depot is 18 in Texas because of their insurance rates. However Ace hires at 16, 15 with a work hardship.
