Is an oral surgeon a good career path?

What are ways of becoming an astronaut? What career paths would you be able to become an astronaut?

  • The past year I have gotten very interested in astronauts and space. I have been wondering what career paths can lead to becoming an astronaut. I know the chances are slim and being a Canadian brings it down even more, but this interests me and I have some careers I would want and I was wondering if they could lead to becoming a pilot. I know the traditional path, or at least the most common path would be to become a pilot, preferably a fighter or test pilot. I have always been interested in becoming a pilot but also as a surgeon.
