How to interpret this dream?

I saw the Angel of Death in my dream. I am not sure how to interpret the dream, and what the folk lore around the Angel of Death is

  • I remember minor details about the dream, but a few things are clear. I was in my old high school in Illinois, or at the very least it looked like it! The class was cleaning up the classroom for whatever reason, I am not entirely sure. Then we started talking about dead people.. All of a sudden, I saw this young woman who I knew was *dead* in my dream. Directly behind the young woman was this HUGE Angel all in black. If the girl was 5ft tall, the Angel had to of been at least 12 feet. I could not see his/her face, but it was in all black including it's wings. I have never really heard about the Angel of Death before, but when I saw this creature, my brain immediately knew what it was. I was scared and woke up maybe 20 seconds later. In that time however, the Angel of Death did not talk to me, or even look at me. It was as if the AOD did not realize I could see it. Anybody have some insight?
