Hi - I am doing research on domestic cat and dog breeds in the US and in other countries for a project. What What domestic cat and dog breeds are common and popular in Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, and other West Indian/Caribbean countries? Am expert told me Abyssinian and Somali cats are found in Jamaica, and based on some other sites, Teacup Persians and Birmans seem to be popular in Jamaica, but besides that I would like to know what other cat breeds are found in Jamaica, and what dog breeds are found there? I don't know about cat and dog breeds found in Haiti or Trinidad and Tobago or these other West Indian/Caribbean countries. Please help - thank you.
