What is the difference between a biome and an ecosystem?

What's an example of an ecosystem within the taiga biome? read details

  • For a science class I have to make a poster on one specific biome in the taiga. But I don;t really know what that means, because I thought taiga technically is an ecosystem.

  • Answer:

Taiga means boreal forest which means northern forest which means a pine forest a few hundred miles wide that runs all the way around the world north of Russia and Canada. It is not a system, only a forest, and a very big one.
