Where can I find a lot of free, quality sheet music/musical scores for popular music? You know, not orchestras, but small bands? For trance?

I've been taking music classes for several years now and even want to pursue a career as a music teacher, but I have one truly embarrassing secret: I can hardly compose anything decent. I believe this inability stems from my lack of experience when it comes to performing in a group... or playing an instrument in general (I played the flute in middle school and I am currently learning the piano in my spare time, but how do all of these instruments come together, in one big scene of harmonic color)? I understand the idea of voice-leading and key changes, but when do I use them? To answer these questions, I would like to analyze popular music. Maybe trance, if possible. Mmm, trance. At the moment I'm more interested in smaller bands than full-fledged orchestras (though I will like to get to those sometime down the line).
