how is it that us as humans have different languages? how did it change of different part of the world?

    Language and religion arose in both isolation and as a result of overlapping with other human groups. For example, because trade existed (including commodities trading) from north of Lake Superior to the tip of Brazil, sign language existed hundreds of years before Europeans arrived in the Americas. Languages were different because of geographical isolation for thousands of years. Most groups were semi-nomadic.
