    it is the same problem with every body more so when you start reading dry books like economics law etc-though there is no particular or pointed remedy for this one what you can do is to underline important points which covers the subject and try to expand it your self-this you will it interesting

I think it's best if you are enjoying the book. Just read for pleasure. If you are not enjoying a book just leave it. What do you like reading? - fiction/non-fictions and what genre - mystery, biographies, sci-fi etc
