Can you make me some indie outfits?

How can I make outfits?

  • I am the youngest of 3 girls so I have tonnes of clothes . all of my clothes are hand-me-downs with the exception of like 2 shirts, 4 jeans (because my older sisters jeans don't usually fit me) and a couple pairs of shoes. regardless of that, I still have like 10 pairs of shoes , probably 100 shirts and like 20 pairs of pants. the only problem is, I don't know how to wear anything. I have all these clothes but I find myself wearing the same 3 or 4 things . how do I make nice outfits? I look on Pinterest but everything is like outrageous. I don't wear skirts and dresses(it's winter anyways) and I have 3 pairs of colour jeans (brown, white-grey and red) but I never know how to wear them withiouy looking tacky. I have like 10 scarves but I only ever wear them when shirts are too low. I also have tonnes of hand-me-down jewlery but I alwayss feel tacky wearing it . how can I make outfits ?

    Wow, sounds like you have lots to work with. I now love shopping at thrift stores. You can finds some amazing uncommon pieces of clothing. Jeans, a cute tshirt with a scarf and a pair of boots looks real cute. Try some of your pieces together and have someone take pics of you. See what you like best and work with it. You can even try hats and beanies.

It's easy to make your own outfits for example nit and outfit. Paper outfit. Use what ever you want. Hope this helped.

Find a shirt with a print with the colors in it that matches the colored pants, or blue jeans and a solid shirt and coordinating printed scarf or vice versa. Try a oversize sweater with an Oxford button down or a sweater dress/tunic with tight jeans or leggings. Layer and find match colors in prints to colored jeans or pair them with solid blue jeans or black jeans.

To make some great outfits you need wear colors that compliment each other. For example, if you wear your brown pants with a light blue long sleeve shirt, some converse, a white scarf, and a charm bracelet that could be a really cute outfit. Look in fashion magazines: Seventeen, Teen Vogue. You'll get some ideas. You don't have to copy exactly. Tone it down if you want.
