Medical Career in the Air Force?

I want to have career in Psychology and I want to serve in the Air Force what it the best Air Force career for me to partake in?

  • I am a sophomore(16)FemaleI take JROTCI plan on getting a into college by a Air Force scholarship and I just want to know which career will better fit my qualifications. My GPA is 3.9

  • Answer:

Why not both? Study psych in college and also join the airforce (use the scholarship from the air force). From what I have seen, the job market is oversaturated with psych majors. To be competitive in the job market you will have to go for higher education (masters or PhD in some sort of clinical psychology) or go to med school to become a psychiatrist (military will pay for med school and has military residencies set up).

Doctor or clinic. See if you could qualify for an Air Force program for future doctors, you might have to spend like 10 years in AF as an agreement
