What is the high algebra?

I won't graduate High School until I pass Algebra II. I'm a senior and gust got thrown back to Algebra I. What am I going to do?

  • Graduation is on May 8th. I got one problem wrong on a 100 question quiz. Next thing I know I'm back in Algebra I because "I clearly can't handle Algebra II yet". How can I prove my school wrong when they won't give me they chance to?

    I don't see how they can throw you back a class if you only miss one question on a quiz when there is only 5 weeks left in the year. I suspect there is more to this than you are telling. I think they would have noticed you couldn't have handled the class long before now. You need to go in and talk to you guidance counselor and you need to get your parents involved.

Ok, let me get this straight, you are currently taking Algebra 2, correct? That doesn't make any sense for them to place you back in Algebra 1 when you have taken it in your Freshmen year & you only got 1 problem wrong. Have you tried talking to your math teacher or school counselor regarding this? If not, then please do ASAP! Graduating is rapidly approaching.

Just pass that class ,then go to summer school and get your credit for algebra II , but talk to your principal about walking the stage.
