What is a good craft to make?

what's a good craft idea for a survive member of a deceased relative. I'm an artist and am looking for something to make.

  • I want to make a gift for a game we play at Christmas time (white elephant) my grandmother recently passed and she loved butterflies. I want to tie the girt into that. I don't know if just a shadow box full of butterflies and her picture. just seems a little cheesy. should be something

Go to a place like Color Me Mine where you can paint ceramics. Get a large fruit bowl or platter and cover it in brightly colored butterflies. Somewhere on it you can write: in Loving Memory of (put your grandmother's name here)

I can tell you that whatever you ultimately do decide to make, if done with creativity, artistic skill, and above all else, reverence and the love you clearly show here, will be appreciated. I myself lost my dear Mom 5 years ago TODAY and it still hurts. I honor her every year on this day and always will. Sometimes it falls on Thanksgiving, but she died on Black Friday; my Dad passed 10 days before Christmas the following year, and I have mourned and honored him too. Your family will greatly appreciate whatever you decide to do. My condolences!
