Where can I work with animals at 13?

Where can a 13 year old work to help animals?

  • Where can someone who is 13 work at a place that helps animals. I have already looked into the humane society (HAWS) and for ages 13-17 you must be accompanied by a parent or join a day camp called Critter Club (which is not what I am looking for). Any places to recommend where i can work; and i don't need to be paid (just wanna help).

check around at local pet grooming places, when I was 14 I don't that, allot of them would be more than happy to have the extra help around

At 13, you probably can only volunteer, your local pet store or adoption clinic would like the help. Although I don't you can volunteer or work at a veterinarians office until your older.

You can probably only volunteer but I know the SPCA lets people fifteen and up volunteer like waking dogs and petting cats, I'm not joking, seriously.
