What is the story behind the Bermuda Triangle?

Is the story or tell-tales about Bermuda Triangle is true?

  • you know just like what people say that some cruise ships or even airplanes that will pass in Bermuda triangle will lost. i want to know how that happens because till now its hard for me to believe it.

  • Answer:

No. All based on exageration, coincidence, misunderstanding and sone just outright lies. Sure some planes and a ship or two vanished in that area. It happens. Back then there werent navigation and communication equipment like today. No were there tracking equipment. Most of the stories were very loosely based on actual disappearances but hugely exagerated in order to sell newspapers. What was then called yellow journalism. Since the advent of modern navigation and tracking there have been zero unexplained 'disappearances' there and ships and planes pass through that area every day.

My dad was on a submarine in the early 1970s. He said they went through that area several times without incident.

Most are coincidence! Yes, there have been some strange things that have happened, but most can be explained

its the busiest waterway in the world so it stands to reason more ships would get distressed there. the history channel makes it worse by leaving out details like ships and planes have been found and had natural reasons for their problems

The stories about the Bermuda Triangle being haunted or having weird occurrences are made up to sell books. There is nothing special about the Bermuda Triangle. Anywhere there are lots of ships and planes travelling, there are bound to be some losses, but the incidence of these things in the Triangle is no different from anywhere else in the world.

All those stories have been debunked many times. For starters, it isn't even a triangle. It's more of a kite shape, and some of the stories took place up to 1500 miles outside the kite. But nobody appreciates a debunker.
