Is This An Allergic reaction to Chocolate?

Allergic reaction to chocolate pomegranate seeds but not allergic to pomegranates. What am I allergic to?

  • My favorite snack is the brookside chocolate covered pomegranate seeds. And recently I figured out when I eat them my throat starts to close. But this has never happened when eating normal pomegranates or dark chocolate. So I don't know exactly what I am allergic to.

    Have you looked at the ingredients on the package, there is a long list. You could have an allergy to something else in them.

you need to go explain this to your doctor they will do any allergy test in the meantime don't eat anymore. If you keep having allergies to it you could die.

You are probably allergic to the pomegranate seeds but you might be allergic to how they are processed when covered in chocolate. Consult with a doctor. You could sample some pomegranate juice without the seeds and see what reaction you have.
