How do I upload a picture instead of using a generic avatar?

How do I upload a picture to my Ask profile avatar from my new Android phone? See details.

  • So, I press down on my avatar, and the ask page to pick or upload picture comes up. I press upload own picture. It then goes to my pictures. I then press the picture I want. A window pops up telling me Ask.com has stopped working? Then goes back to home screen. Help! I have some new dragonflies.

  • Answer:

    maybe try uninstalling the app then reinstalling it..... i had some issue with putting up new avatars after being on a few months...but it just never saved them....it never closed the app.
