Can I take college courses to become a wildlife rehabilitator?
-
For years I've wanted to work in the emergency field of animal medical science. However, I realize that'll take at least 10 years of college. I really wanted to get into the rehabilitation field instead. I know I want to be a home rehabilitator when I have a family, but for a job, is there any college pathway I can take? I'm in Colorado and want to go to college in-state, if that helps. I know you can study on your own to get a certificate for wildlife rehabilitation in your own home, but is there a college course I could take instead? What if I want to be a professional rehabilitator and work for a wildlife program? Any information you will give me is valuable!
