Good place to buy plaster strips?
-
i recently took a cool art class and in it we made masks out of plaster among other substances. I really want to try some more plaster work since it was absolutely the best method more me. do craft stores usually sell plaster strips, or places like walmart?

Answer:
I always get mine from Hobby Lobby or Michael's craft store. They're usually pretty cheap. I have some at home that I bought in bulk and it had 12 rolls for almost $20. I've never seen them at Walmart though, if they were there I probably wouldn't get them for fear of them being made cheaply and not holding up over time.

You can make your own using cheese cloth and plaster. If you are inclined to save money and learn how to mix plaster.
